Game made with De Yuang, "Supreme Peenor Master" and Juckey.

Controls:
Movement: A/D or Left/Right on the keyboard or D-pad (controller)
Jump: Space bar or "A" Button (controller)
Fire: Left Control or "B" Button (controller)

We ran out of time to create the starting cut scene so here's the script for it:

Police pulls a car on the side of a desert highway road for speeding and fishy looking registration plate.
The police walks by the driver's window and begins to interrogate.

POLICE OFFICER:

Good day sir. I stopped you because of your registration plate seems to be illegal.
Driver's license and registration please

DRIVER:

I don't carry any identification with me. In a matter of fact, I don't need a driver's license. I'm a free citizen.
Traffic laws are not crimes.

POLICE OFFICER:

Sorry sir, but I need you to hand me your ID.

DRIVER:

For the declaration of human rights of the united nations resolution 75.6 and 1948 page 570 article 49 and the 5th amendment of the US Constitution, I have the right to not consent to your contract.
You don't have corpus delicti. The law is not real, it's a sociopolitical construct and I do not accept it.

POLICE OFFICER:

So here's the deal, you either hand me your ID or you go to jail.
By not giving me your information you are performing an arrestable offence

DRIVER:

I'm not a person. I don't have a name and despite that you are out of your juristiction. I know my rights. I have the right to remain silent.
You are going to lose your job.

POLICE OFFICER:

Sir, I need you to step out of the vehicle

DRIVER:

Call your supervisor. I know my constitution. This is not a crime. We did not rob or kill anyone and you're harrassing me.

POLICE OFFICER:

GET OUT OF THE CAR!!

DRIVER:

You are not god. I follow the god's/creator's law. You're not an officer. You're a demon.
I'm not driving, I'm travelling. UCC. Universal Commercial Code. Go check your facts. Only maritime laws affect me. I'm sailing!

POP The driver turns in to a boat.
The police officer reaches for his firearm

POLICE OFFICER:
-Hands behind your back!
-Get on the ground!

I can honestly say I have never played a game where you run down the highway as a boat with legs to escape the police. 10/10 game, I'll be back tomorrow to crush whoever tries to beat my high score.

Heh, I'm not sure what I expected, but definitely not that. Funny concept!

One potential issue: Having the restart button be the same as the jump-button caused me to accidentially start a new game several times, before seing my "Time lived" rating, as I died right as I tried to jump.

@TheGrumpyGameDev There was a design process here. It's not randomness; you might want to look up "Sovereign Citizens".

Essentially it's a bunch of crazy people that think the law does not apply to them due to some specific phrasing in a law, or a definition in a legal dicitionary "magically" making them immume from the law. It varies, of course, but a classic example is a sovcit trying to get out of a traffic stop by claiming their vehicle is not a fact a car but instead a "vessel" and that they aren't driving it but are instead "travelling". Some go as far as to say traffic law does not apply to them at all, and instead Maritime (international) law does. That's where the boat comes from.

Some of these people claim the entire government is a fraud; or is conspiring against them. We took that to the extreme, so the enemies of the game are not just the popo, but also the Army, the Postal Service… we sadly didn't have enough time to include garbage pickup, the CIA, etc etc.

The accordion part was unexpected. I mean, a lot of things were unexpected but the accordion is the icing on the cake.
I was not very good at it but still had fun trying to defeat the ennemies. I could not get past the postal van but I have seen the trailer, and might come back to reach the other vehicules and improve my score.
For the game itself I think the only annoying part affecting my fun was the fact that the bullets wont stop when they hit something. It really ruins the mood. Some screenshake / sfx / particles on impact would add a lot.

That was by far the weirdest game I've played so far. The boat with hairy legs, once seen, cannot be unseen. I sucked too badly to even defeat the police, but my life will never be the same from now on.

This was an interesting game… in the fact it was very strange and not like something I've played before :D

I liked the postal vehicle had a cool fan attack. But it was difficult to avoid, the jump didn't seem to clear it properly. I didn't get further than that unfortauntely! I hope you had fun making the game.
