Sound does not play on web, the console is even filled with a bunch of errors, fun !

Built using libc 2.40, which may be a little too recent (not if you use arch btw), I'll make a build using an older Linux later

heyy, it's a sokoban!

I played on web, so I am not gonna rate sound (I'm on windows as well, so no chance of hearing it)

the isometric look works well. I had to do some guesswork what the different things work and why little eggs can be smushed but can't be moved by bigger objects was logically a little weird but made for a good puzzle element.

In my opinion you really want some sort of undo or a way to restart a section. Just being stuck, especially early on without knowing what to do was somewhat frustrating. Especially because it's unclear if you need eggs to build a bridge or should just destroy them - this lead to a wary way of approaching the puzzles and scouting ahead, somewhat antithetical to the whole 'use as little steps as possible' as the UI implied.

In the end I had to backtrack the entire game for a single egg, that was left in the beginning. x__x

My favorite feature easily is stacking a row of eggs in front of you and pushing all of them along - really fit the ants can lift vibe. :D

Really cool Art Style and brutally challenging lol, I do sortof like it being a puzzle where you have to plan out each move to make sure you don't softlock yourself, Nice job =)

Puzzle game for ya ! I usually do puzzle games to avoid avoid having brutality/violence/killing features, but yeah… I kinda end up doing it anyway :|

@elZach:
Yeah I learned on this jam that:

  • Sokoban + Isometric does not work well, player is easily confused about the inputs
  • Sokoban without undo button = rage game :D
    I would have loved to have more time on the actual puzzles, I should really make an editor next time, it would make mapping MUCH faster (I will probably make a post-jam version with an undo feature and a map editor).

It's nice to not get self locked, but I should really implement an undo feature xD
